Adventures with HTML5 templates and CSS Resets:  

Today was a gratifying day.  We quickly recapped the week 1 class topics, created a HTML5 template (very useful), talked about INHERITANCE, made a CSS RESET, covered the BOX OBJECT MODEL, and were introduced to LAYOUT.  Then, we created a website using CSS and the HTML5 template out of the pre-existing photoshop comp on the left.  Boom!

Superhero Trading Card

Make a superhero trading card in which you are a regular person with a secret superhero identity.  The HTML page should include images of both your regular and your superhero identity, as well as the following information: 

Superhero Info:

  • Your superhero name
  • A brief description of your hero’s background
  • Your superhero’s catch phrase
  • A list of your super powers
  • A list of your secret weaknesses

 Secret Identity Info:

  • Your secret identity’s name
  • Your identity’s major
  • A brief description of your identity’s history
